Wellburrito is a mood tracking app, and our approach to mood tracking is simple.
With Wellburrito, you can journal your mood in just a few taps. On the home screen, you’ll see a “How are you feeling right now?” panel with a series of smiley faces that describe possible options as to your mood.
You can tap one of them that best describes your feelings and press save. That’s all you need to do to start journaling your mood, but we recommend taking a more holistic approach to improve the data available to you.
As well as simply logging your mood, you can also log the activities you’ve been up to recently. This acts as a diary for you, and premium users are able to cross reference mood levels against activities to see which ones affect their moods the most.
Custom metric tracking
Similarly, premium users are also able to define and track custom metrics. Mood is a complex thing; if you log that you’re feeling bad, does that mean you’re anxious, depressed, angry, fearful, sad or some other negative emotion? You are probably afflicted a lot by one or two negative emotions you’d like to look at individually. For example, let’s say that you experience a lot of anxiety. In this case it would be useful to define ‘Anxiety’ as a metric, which you can then score each time you log your mood.
Metrics add a whole new dimension to mood tracking and analysis. Wellburrito will generate reports for you of how those metrics correlate with activities versus the average. So you might find that Wellburrito is able to show you how the things you do influence how you feel.
That’s it! We hope you find it easy to track your mood with the Wellburrito mood tracking app. If you have any suggestions as to how to make it easier, or ideas for features you’d like to see, please leave a comment!
